Gibson, Ph.D.
Dr. Vicki Gibson has been teaching students and training teachers since 1975. For ten years, she was a kindergarten teacher and learning disability specialist in public schools before she opened her own preschools: Education Station, Inc.; Collier Campus, Inc.; and Longmire Learning Center, Inc. We Can! was created from the curriculum materials Dr. Gibson developed and field-tested during her 27 years of teaching. For ten years, Dr. Gibson was Adjunct Professor in the College of Education for the Department of Educational Psychology at her alma mater, Texas A&M University. She is a well-respected educational consultant, author, and speaker at state and national education conferences. She is a teacher trainer whose areas of specialization include assessing learner’s needs, planning instruction, curriculum development, instructional methodology, and classroom management and discipline. Her goal is to produce educational products that enhance success for teachers and students.
