Grades K–1 and Intervention 1–2

Based on years of research by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), WatchWord unravels the alphabetic code for young children and develops the phonological, letter recognition, and phonics skills they need to become fluent readers. The program's multisensory, developmentally appropriate, and carefully sequenced activities can be used with the entire class, small groups, or individual students. The WatchWord program:
- Shows students the connection between letters and words and the real-life objects they represent with combined oral and motor activities
- Provides hands-on learning that makes the program enjoyable and easy to implement
Set includes Teacher's Guide with CD-ROM, Student Reader (set of 10), and Sound Blending Charts (two charts, 10 of each).
