Read Well® is the primary reading curriculum that adjusts to the needs of each student and builds the foundation necessary for sustained reading success. |
With multiple entry points into the Read Well curriculum, each student is assessed and placed into the small group that matches his or her skill level. Ongoing assessment and progress monitoring inform instruction. Daily instruction in phonemic awareness and phonics, vocabulary, reading fluency, and comprehension builds the foundation necessary for students to become lifelong readers. Read Wells unique format includes duet stories and solo stories, which enable children—even the youngest kindergarten students—to hear rich story content and read independently from the first unit.
Teachers love to teach Read Well!
Read Well’s motivating stories and multisensory activities and games—including songs, poems, and chants—all work together to create a lively,
engaging environment that brings reading to life and instills the joy of learning in young readers.
