PURPOSE

Book C for the LANGUAGE! curriculum is designed for use prior to beginning instruction when the results of the LANGUAGE! Reading Placement Test indicate entry into Book C. This is one of two possible entry points into the curriculum.

LANGUAGE! Bridge, Book C is a 15-day sequence of 90 minute lessons that:

• Helps establish the prerequisite content and skills for the first unit in Book C.
• Introduces you and students to the components of the LANGUAGE! Instructional materials.
• Creates familiarity with key instructional activities in the curriculum.

The lesson pages in the Book C Bridge materials bring the objectives, content, activities, and instructional directions together to guide and support teachers.
